This research report explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on relocation patterns. Through a survey of 167 participants, the study found that while many people considered moving due to the pandemic, only a small percentage actually relocated for COVID-related reasons. The primary reasons for relocation were non-COVID-related, such as being closer to family or personal preference. The study also revealed that while remote work opportunities were considered, they were not the primary driver for relocation. The findings suggest that while the pandemic did influence people's thinking about their living situations, other factors, such as personal circumstances and preferences, played a more significant role in relocation decisions.
